  • Reporting to Senior Manager, Marketing & Public Relations, you will assist to devise and execute both the digital and social marketing strategies and campaigns for the Americas region (including US & Canada) with the overall aim to build awareness of Hong Kong’s tourism brand and product offerings, and to ultimately drive visitations.
  • Support the execution of PR strategies and campaigns in Canada, including social media partnerships with brand ambassadors (such as influencers/Super Fans/interviewees) and various stakeholders to ensure on-brand messages delivery.
  • Identify new media PR opportunities; build and maintain relationships with members of the media across all outlets; continuously update media database for pitching.
  • Provide timely and accurate PR, digital & social reports; assist in monitoring of media sentiment and any potential PR / brand crisis with, for example, hands-on daily news scan.
  • Prepare from end to end press releases, press mailings and stakeholder gift drops; assist in developing communication materials, including media pitches, social media posts, briefing documents and newsletters.
  • Assist in organizing virtual and physical events – KOL activation, Chinese New Year and other events as needed.
  • Manage brand/digital/social/PR creative assets, and campaign budgets, e.g. prepare purchase orders, prepare payment requests and other budget-related tasks as needed.
  • Maintain regular and effective communication with Head Office Management & teams involved in regional / local Consumer Marketing, Trade Marketing & PR activities.



  • University graduate, preferably in Marketing & PR with minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience.
  • Fully knowledgeable in all aspects of marketing and PR, as well as management on project, budget, and crisis.
  • Working knowledge of digital technologies and applications, including Google/Adobe Analytics, Google ads & Display Network, Facebook Ad Manager, Instagram, Twitter, Photoshop and Content Management Systems.
  • Highly efficient in organisational multi-tasking; able to meet deadlines with strong sense of importance and urgency.
  • Resourceful, proactive and self-motivated; able to work independently and under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, culturally sensitive; able to work as a team effectively, and influence others, internally and externally, for positive results.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, for effective communication with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.



  • The position is located in our Toronto office.
  • We do not offer moving allowances from other cities.
