Senior Manager, Digital Marketing (for South Asia & Middle Eastern markets)

  • Formulate digital marketing strategies, planning, analyzing trends and managing marketing, social media campaigns & PR related activities in South Asia & Middle East (“SAME”) to achieve the business performance goals and deliver KPI targets.

  • Lead integrated digital marketing campaigns from concept to execution to promote destination brand, core tourism experiences, mega events and HKTB initiatives in SAME. 

  • Responsible to update content on DHK India & AE website including arabic translation (through Representative Office support), maintaining social media channels, measure and report performance, campaign outcomes and make recommendations for necessary adjustments of marketing strategies.

  • Devise the digital marketing & PR programs to drive reach, visibility and engagement with new consumers to strengthen Hong Kong’s position as a most desired travel destination in the SAME markets.

  • Develop strong business relationships with key media publications, new age media influencers, key opinion leaders.

  • Manage and guide Public Relations consultants / agencies to ensure that the PR programs and yearly public relations objectives and plans are attained.

  • Solicit impactful in-market media and non-media partnerships / initiatives that will boost Hong Kong’s destination visibility and appeal and ultimately drive arrivals into Hong Kong.

  • Drive digital traffic to destination website – by co-creating compelling content relevant for SAME market to generate page visits and views.

  • Drive effective digital, mobile & social campaigns to ensure campaign objectives, KPIs and ROI, and overall business direction are met.

  • Oversee in-market social pages and create a sizable fan base and continue to grow the page with consumer engagement programmes.

  • Constantly be abreast of and review the digital & social landscape to sharpen the marketing strategies and plans in place. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

  • Monitor and analyse the market trends and recommend appropriate actions to capitalise on the trends.

  • Prepare consistent annual business plans and business plan presentations for the team head.

  • Provide consolidated and consistent budget planning, market intelligence collection and unified monthly reporting for management’s review and delivery.



  • University degree holder in Marketing, Communications or other related disciplines with minimum 10 years of relevant working experience. 

  • Proven track record of regional or global marketing management experience and meeting aggressive KPI targets.

  • Detailed understanding of online & new age media landscape is must

  • Hands-on proven experience leading and managing digital marketing, SEO/SEM, email, social media, video advertising, display/mobile ad advertising, optimizing Google Adwords campaigns 

  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

  • Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels

  • Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, WebTrends etc)

  • Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational skills and be able to operate effectively at all levels of seniority. 

  • Strong analytical and presentation skills in explaining complex strategies with excellent marketing and business logic.

  • Self-starter, outgoing and able to work independently under pressure and tight timelines.

  • Creative mindset with problem solving and data driven thinking.

  • High proficiency in written and spoken English is essential.  

  • Having regional networks and in-market  (SAME) experience will be an advantage.
