Executive, Operation, MICE (9-month contract)

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?

  • Fully accountable for coordinating and executing HKRewards fulfillment for all meeting and incentive groups that apply for the offer. This involves working closely with external event organizers, travel agents, hotels, travel trade partners, vendors, and internal parties.  Assist in enhancing the program to ensure it remains attractive and unique amidst other offers in the market under intensified competition among NTOs.
  • Execute and contribute to the effective program delivery of Hong Kong Goodies and Hong Kong Night Treats to promote and reinforce Hong Kong’s position as a premier MICE destination post-pandemic.

  • Support product development for the Muslim-friendly MICE initiative by conducting desktop research and destination studies, liaising with key stakeholders including hotels, restaurants, attractions, venues, Destination Management Companies (DMCs) and team building companies.

  • Develop and generate reports on hospitality program and the above campaigns for management review.

  • Handle inquiries from overseas and local event organizers and planners on products, marketing support, and services in a professional and efficient manner.

  • Provide administrative support for the team, including warehouse management, database management, procurement of promotional giveaways, supplies and services, and internal/external reporting.

  • Undertake any other duties, special assignments, and ad hoc projects as directed by the team head.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • University graduate with a minimum of 2 years’ experience, preferably in the tourism and travel trade industry (e.g., PCO, DMC, hotel, MICE venue, and event management company) or event-related operations

  • Self-starter with strong communication and interpersonal skills, project management skills, and a good team player

  • Able to work independently and in teams under pressure, handle multiple tasks, set priorities, and attend to details 

  • Excellent in both written and spoken English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
