HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND LEARN?
Oversee all trade communications to strengthen HKTB’s relationship with various trade partners in support of its market specific objectives
Render editorial support to the Division by providing a range of services including proofreading, editing, copywriting, original content creation and content vetting.
Lead the ongoing development and operation of PartnerNet, HKTB’s B2B trade portal, as well as Hong Kong Specialist online training programme to drive usage and create business opportunities for our trade partners
Plan, develop and co-ordinate with overseas offices in formulating effective trade marketing programs in designated overseas markets to ensure they are well implemented and in line with the agreed strategic direction
Oversee the production of trade communication tools such as brochures, videos with excellent quality and cost-effectiveness and in compliance with company policy and procedures
Provide strategic inputs, progress tracking and programme evaluation on major trade marketing programmes
Assess effectiveness and recommend improvements for all trade related activities to ensure the most cost-effective programmes be conducted
Collate and analyse market intelligence and trends to facilitate management to formulate marketing plans and strategies
Responsible for meeting corporate objectives and delivering KPIs set
Manage the financial responsibility within the team for effective budgetary plan and control
Undertake any other duties/special assignments as directed by the supervisor
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
University degree holder with minimum 10 years of experience, preferably with a major in Journalism/Public Relations/ Communications/English Language/Translation or related discipline
Strong copywriting, copyediting and editing skills with the ability to tailor copy style to fit in different occasions
Experience in managing websites and developing integrated marketing communications programmes
Good knowledge of general affairs and tourism in Hong Kong and experience in tourism-related marketing /travel trade is a distinct advantage
Fluency in written and spoken Chinese and English is a must. Putonghua is an advantage
Knowledge of other languages is an advantage
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills
High sense of responsibility, able to work independently, long hours and under pressure
